Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Finance team in managing accounting operations, including month-end and year-end close processes.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures that promote best practices and financial discipline across the organization.
- Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes to ensure accurate tracking of financial performance and progress toward strategic goals.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Collaborate with department heads and the executive team to provide actionable financial insights that drive company growth and operational efficiency.
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management to ensure the organization’s financial stability.
- Conduct regular financial audits and internal controls to safeguard assets and maintain integrity of financial data.
- Coordinate with external auditors, ensuring timely and successful completion of audits.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems, including the implementation of automation and technology solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Develop financial models to assess potential business scenarios, mergers and acquisitions, or investment opportunities.
- Support the development and execution of the company’s long-term financial strategy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Active CPA
- 7+ years of progressive financial management experience.
- Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement effective solutions.
