Forensic Accounting Director
Our client is searching for a Forensic Accounting Director to join their successful and growing CPA firm. Ideal candidates will have public accounting firm experience supporting litigation.
Forensic Accounting Director Responsibilities
- Conduct valuation, forensic, and appraisal analyses, which entail creating comparative adjusted financial statements and providing data input for expert witness exhibits.
- Perform many duties of an advance level forensic accountant including working directly for corporate clients, under the supervision of upper level management
- Provide case direction and strategy
- Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings as well as case direction and strategy
- Lead and direct forensic accounting department
- Identify and communicate case issues, finding, and improvement opportunities with managers and partners to resolve client issues discovered during engagements
Forensic Accounting Director Requirements
- CPA is required
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in forensic accounting
- Knowledgeable of the relevant statutory and family codes and their applicability to accounting principles in performance of forensic accounting
- Ability to provide expert testimony
- Strong leadership skills for staff training
- Effective communication with attorneys and clients
