Job Summary

We are looking for a Electrical Machinery Design Engineer with a deep understanding of electrical generators and motor machinery. In this role, you will collaborate with our engineering team to design, develop, and validate generator components, including structures, tooling, and fixtures. Experience with permanent magnet designs is a plus but not required. You’ll help shape novel solutions by combining expertise across both electrical and mechanical engineering.

Electrical Machinery Design Engineer Responsibilities:


  • Lead the design, engineering, and analysis of generator and motor components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative designs and solve technical challenges.
  • Apply engineering expertise to validate structural, thermal, and electromagnetic systems.
  • Interact with external suppliers and service providers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide constructive feedback and contribute to the growth of the engineering team.

Electrical Machinery Design Engineer Qualifications:


  • U.S. citizens only
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or Mechanical Engineering
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in motors, generators, and magnetic machinery
  • Proficient in finite element analysis for structural, thermal, and electromagnetic applications
  • Ability to bridge both electrical and mechanical disciplines effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex technical data
  • Comfortable working with outside vendors and service providers
