Mechanical Integrity Engineer Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering + minimum of 10 years related experience in a heavy manufacturing environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) HUGE PLUS
- Expert knowledge of API 510, API 570, API 620, API 653, mechanical systems, failure systems, and inspection techniques
Mechanical Integrity Engineer Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections, assessments, and evaluations of mechanical systems
- Analyze data and generate reports on the condition and performance of equipment
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices
- Lead root cause analysis for failures and recommend corrective actions
- Provide ongoing training and support to team members on mechanical integrity topics
- Manage reliability data, work order failure code analysis, maintenance of the asset hierarchy, bills of materials, and technical library
