Hotel Executive Chef Requirements:
- 8+ years as a Hotel Property Executive Chef w/multiple outlets and large plated events
- Hands-on leadership style
- Problem-solver, and highly organized
- Proficient in managing P&L for labor and food costs
- Skilled in motivating and leading and developing one's team
- Effective and clear verbal communication skills
Hotel Executive Chef Responsibilities:
- Manage planning, preparation, and execution for all banquet events
- Ensure all Food and Beverage outlets on the property are performing to full potential
- Mentor and develop staff through training and coaching
- Deliver feedback and hold the team accountable to all standards
- Ensure kitchens are staffed accordingly, hire and train when needed
- Responsible for food product procurement
- Comply with all purchasing programs
- Ensure all equipment is functioning in proper order
- Collaborate with GM and Accounting for creating Budgets
- Comply with all county and state laws governing food service operations
