We seek a motivated Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance defense with trucking or transportation, including case analysis, litigation strategy, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation. The successful candidate will be expected to manage a caseload, draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda, and represent clients in court.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and handle all aspects of insurance defense cases, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation
• Represent clients in court, at depositions, mediations, and settlement conferences
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and legal strategies
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and meet deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing with the Georgia Bar
• 3-4 years of experience in insurance defense litigation
