Financial Controller Responsibilities:

• Complete ownership of the accounting department, including internal/external teams
• Manages all monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting activities
• Elevate current and implement new financial-driven systems
• Assists operations team with new restaurant openings to ensure a smooth transition
• Travels to existing locations for support as needed

 

Financial Controller Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA is a plus
• 5+ years of progressive Accounting experience and 3+ years experience as a Controller or in a Senior Accounting leadership role
• Knowledge of GAAP principles
• Strong financial, organizational, and operational skillset; polish and professionalism
• Experience in a multi-state restaurant or hospitality industry is highly preferred
• Expertise in MS Excel and ERP systems & accounting software; Sage Intacct or equivalent highly preferred
