Sr. Director of Business Development Qualifications:
- 8+ years in business development especially in federal, energy, and building sectors, with an established book of contacts
- 10+ years of leadership experience with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams
- Business and financial acumen, with experience in developing data-driven strategies that drive growth and an understanding of complex marketing
- Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in business, civil engineering or related field
Sr. Director of Business Development Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the long-term growth and expansion of the organization, including increasing revenue and expanding markets
- Lead all strategy development and business development functions and processes, including making improvements in marketing and technology
- Staff, mentor, train, coach, develop KPI’s and hold team members accountable - capture, marketing, and bid & Proposal teams
- Oversee market research to identify and increase prospective clients
- Ensure brand image is upheld at all times
- Travel as needed (~25%) to expand and enhance our business relationships
