Construction Program Manager Qualifications:

• P.E. or A.E. in D.C. (preferred) or ability to obtain reciprocity
• ICC Commercial Building Inspector Certificate (Commercial Combination Inspector Certificate preferred)
• 10 years in project/program management for federal programs
• Ability to acquire standard government pass and/or access requirements for Federal installations 
• Experience managing multiple contracts and subcontracts simultaneously
• Working knowledge of FAR and managing IDIQ contracts
• Proficiency in project management software/tools such as MS Project and/or Smartsheet
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related

Construction Program Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversee projects from concept to completion, setting program controls, governance, and standards while ensuring timeliness, compliance, and quality of work
• Create budgets including costing and resource allocation, tracking, scheduling and monitoring of projects
• Identify and mitigate project risks to avoid delays and cost overruns, making suggestions for improvements to quality, cost, and efficiency
• Maintain regular reporting, providing updates to clients and executives
• Provide technical / operational / financial / managerial leadership and support and the subject matter expert
• Maintain partnerships and relationships with internal and external stakeholders, subcontractors, and staff and work to grow the federal contracting business
• Oversee, motivate and develop a team diverse in talents, responsibilities, and location
• Travel between Ashburn, VA and Washington, DC locations (25%)
