Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Salesperson for a leading large equipment sales and service company. We are a small and growing team looking for a results-driven leader with experience in heavy equipment/large trucks. Sales Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients within the assigned territory.
- Promote and sell new, used, and rental construction and mining machinery.
- Collaborate with the parts and service department to ensure comprehensive customer solutions.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Conduct territory research and analysis to identify new opportunities and stay informed about industry trends.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients.
- Ensure accurate and timely sales reporting and documentation.
- Participate in product training and stay updated on the latest equipment and industry advancements.
Sales Requirements:
- Proven experience in equipment sales or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Highly organized and energetic, with excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating across departments.
- Proficient in using computers and software applications (experience with CRM systems is a plus).
- Must be willing to travel within the assigned territory
