Kit Supply Chain Manager Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and report on key performance metrics to implement continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the company and its vendors meet or exceed goals
  • Focus on print logistics, fulfillment, forecasting, KPI reporting, and Root Cause Failure analysis
  • Create, maintain, and communicate Build of Materials lists (BoMs) to stakeholders with coordination from Product Management and R&D
  • Own the process of kit demand forecasting, logistics, and cost control
  • Refine and streamline kit production, quality control, and manufacturing strategies

Kit Supply Chain Manager Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Sourcing in the education industry
  • Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management or related field (minimum requirement)
  • Knowledge and experience with ERP systems: NetSuite, Oracle, and/or SAP
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills across multiple functions and departments
  • Experience in leading/managing kit operations in the education industry, delivering $30m in kit spend to end-users
  • Ability to project and develop contingency plans, risk mitigation, advanced data interpretation, and statistical models
