Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of a new restaurant concept.
General Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining smooth and efficient operational standards.
- Overseeing financial performance.
- Developing a team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Train, coach, and mentor staff in customer service, food preparation, communication skills, business goals, and compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Manage payroll, inventory, and cost control to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring timely and accurate ordering of supplies.
Restaurant General Manager Required Skills:
- Proven leadership skills with experience in managing restaurant teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate staff across different levels.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high standard of service.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of a Restaurant General Manager role.
General Manager Education and Experience:
- 3+ years of leadership experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Food Safety Certification or willingness to obtain it, as required.
- Successful completion of on-the-job training.
