Job Summary
As the Kitchen Manager, you will oversee the Back of House operation, teaching and developing the skills of the team, while ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. Your leadership will be key to creating a positive work environment and achieving our culinary goals.
Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of cooks, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
- Provide hands-on training and professional development to elevate team performance and skills
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety
- Create, implement, and refine standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and consistency in kitchen processes
- Work with ownership to develop and update menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer trends
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment
- Assist in managing kitchen-related expenses and optimize food costs for profitability
Kitchen Manager Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef
- Proven experience in developing SOPs and efficient kitchen systems
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills
