We are a growing Company that works with multiple verticals. We are looking for a CPA Controller for our Hamptons-based company, which has heavy growth patterns in both hospitality and real estate. 120K-150K plus terrific benefits and possible Hybrid. We are looking for someone who is a leader and enjoys working with and leading teams. This person will directly report to the CEO and is responsible for the accounting, payroll, taxes, and financial reporting of the company. Must have experience in Account Management and a CPA license! MUST BE LOCAL TO THE HAMPTONS and experience overseeing a portfolio of clients within multiple verticals such as real estate, construction, and direct consumer goods.

CPA Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting staff by directing them to ensure all systems are current and in compliance with legal requirements in all markets
• Oversee the annual operating, capital, and program budgets
• Provide support for the achievement of business plans
• Oversee capital expenditure and initiatives
• Ensure robust financial forecasting and monitor and update the CEO
• Regulate that cash flow is on target with current company operations
• Regulate Payroll Processing, and expense reports process
• Make sure accounting project timelines are on time and adhere to our brand standards
• Oversee all-new restaurant accounting systems
• Evaluate current systems and determine if the implementation of new systems related to accounting and payroll is necessary
• Lead the team for hiring and training all unit-level staff
• Be a positive leader helping the company move forward

CPA Qualifications

• 7 or more years as a controller, a CPA license is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in finance or business administration
• We will consider someone outside the Finance Field
• Proficiency in Excel and Accounting software
