Job Summary
Are you passionate about curating exceptional events and driving business growth in the bustling NYC hospitality scene? We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Event Sales Manager to join our client's expanding team. With a proven track record in event sales and coordination, you’ll be key in taking their business to new heights.
Sales and Events Manager Experience:
- 3+ years of event sales experience, ideally in NYC’s fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, superb organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities seamlessly.
- A customer-centric mindset, ensuring smooth communication with clients, staff, and vendors alike.
- Ability to oversee events from initial inquiry through execution and final billing, leaving no detail unattended.
Sales and Events Manager Responsibilities:
- Take charge of drafting contracts, creating event orders, and coordinating with both front and back-of-house teams to ensure flawless execution.
- Own the client relationship, providing consistent updates and handling day-of-event responsibilities to guarantee memorable experiences.
- Utilize your sales expertise to drive new business, including outbound sales efforts, networking, and community outreach.
- Work closely with event coordinators and management to manage and grow the current $2M+ in annual event sales.
Sales and Events Manager Benefits:
