Job Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Land Surveyor to join a family-oriented residential construction company in the Denver market. In this client-facing role, you will be responsible for leading a department, coordinating work, and building customer relationships.
Professional Land Surveyor Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research of property deeds, historical records, and legal documents to establish accurate property boundaries
- Utilize advanced surveying instruments and techniques to measure and mark property lines, corners, and reference points
- Prepare and certify boundary surveys to ensure compliance with legal requirements and regulations
- Create detailed maps, drawings, and digital models that accurately represent the surveyed area's features and characteristics
- Generate digital terrain models (DTMs), contour maps, and other graphical representations for use in engineering and design processes
Professional Land Surveyor Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of surveying experience
- Licensed Professional Land Surveyor
- Demonstrated knowledge of survey practices and procedures, and state and company field procedures
- Knowledge of the permitting process for the regional jurisdictions including Denver, Jefferson County, and others
- Experience operating survey instrumentation required for the collection of survey data
- Experience performing boundary and topographic surveys, construction staking, ALTA surveys, and Mortgage Title Inspections
- Demonstration of excellent written and verbal communication, customer relationship building, and project management skills
