Job Summary

Our client is a power distribution component manufacturer with a long and exciting history. They are primed for aggressive expansion into new and existing markets. We are seeking Quality Test Engineers to support product development and ensure the reliability and safety of the products and systems. This role works closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, production and supply chain to ensure all products meet regulatory standards and customers requirements.


Quality Electromechanical Manufacturing Test Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Perform testing of components, assemblies and systems at all phases of production
  • Perform root casue analysis and troubleshooting to resolution
  • Document test logs during all phases and record defects.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering to resolve and fix defects
  • Develop testing protocols for reliability, performance and safety standards
  • Support company-wide initiatives, including quality improvement projects to maintain best-in-class service

Quality Electromechanical Manufacturing Test Engineer Qualifications:

  • BS in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field and 3+ years experience in QA/QC testing electrical systems
  • Experience/knowledge working power distribution systems and components including switchgear and circuit breakers, medium and/or low voltage products
  • Strong aptitude of quality management systems and methodologies
  • Experience with Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Statistical Process Control (SPC) and root cause analysis
  • Understanding of IEEE, IEC, UL and other regulatory guidelines
  • Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or other CI processes
