Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and strategic leader to oversee and expand a capacity building program supporting nonprofits across the Miami region. The Development Program Director will identify resources, foster partnerships, and create training and technical support programs that enhance the operational and financial resilience of community-based organizations. Ideal candidates will have significant experience in nonprofit leadership, program design, and a deep commitment to fostering equity and inclusion within the nonprofit sector.

 

Development Program Director Responsibilities

·        Lead the design, development, and implementation of capacity building programs and services for community organizations.

·        Build and maintain a network of potential partners, both locally and nationally, for capacity building initiatives.

·        Foster relationships with nonprofit leaders to support their organizational goals through individual meetings and participation in community events.

·        Negotiate contracts with both new and existing service providers for capacity building programs.

·        Conduct assessments to ensure offered resources remain relevant and in demand.

·        Advise and make referrals to local organizations as needed.

 

Development Program Director Requirements

·        Minimum Of A Master’s Degree

·        8 Years or More of Non-Profit Experience

·        Strong Background/Understanding of Miami’s Nonprofit Landscape. 

·        Demonstrated Experience In Capacity Building
