Venue and Events Executive Chef
We are seeking a creative, experienced multi-venue and events Executive Chef to oversee various food and beverage concepts and lead on-site events at this iconic Boston location. Take the next steps in building your professional culinary career with this stable and growing group.
Venue and Events Executive Chef Responsibilities:
- Accountability, Consistency and Quality are aspects this role focuses on.
- Menu development and high-level execution
- Work collaboratively with the sales team, venue management, and clients
- Assurance of quality, taste, and presentation
- Mentorship, training, and development of team members
- Communicate effectively and clearly
- Lead Sous Chef and Kitchen Supervisor in daily and weekly task goals
- Ensure that the Sous Chef and Kitchen Supervisor are executing retail culinary operations and special event menu/needs within brand standards
Venue and Events Executive Chef Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited culinary institution or comparable experience
- 5 years of Chef experience and at least 1 year leading culinary operations
- Experience in luxury hotel, fine dining, or high-end catering preferred
- Must be responsible and driven with the ability to manage self
- Highly skilled in a multitude of cuisines and culinary techniques
