Job Summary

The General Manager (GM) is pivotal in supporting the Regional Director (RD) by overseeing and coordinating operational activities, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, and driving performance and efficiency standards within the market. The GM is directly responsible for local sales, client engagement, and maintaining exceptional customer service standards.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manage team performance under the guidance of the District Manager.
  • Coordinate operational standards and business functions to meet client demands and company expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with logistical processes using Shipday for all catering orders.
  • Drive local sales and promotional efforts, enhancing revenue and client relationships.
  • Support the district manager with payroll, HR, and finance-related tasks.
  • Maintain kitchen quality, safety standards, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage company assets, contracts, and service arrangements.
  • Address customer complaints and oversee health and safety regulations.
  • Implement and enforce corporate policies and procedures.
  • Support sales and marketing initiatives as directed.

Requirements:

  • Hospitality experience with culinary knowledge.
  • Experience in managing staff and client relationships, preferably in a business environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting principles, and health regulations.
  • Ability to manage budgets, labor costs, and operational logistics effectively.
  • Flexibility in work schedule including weekends, holidays, and travel as required.
