Structural Engineer Requirements and Responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in structural engineering
• Proficient with structural design software, word processing, spreadsheets, and CAD
• Conduct analysis and design of residential and commercial buildings, including calculating wind, seismic, earth, and gravity loads
• Prepare accurate construction documents, including structural framing plans, general notes, and details
• Travel to client offices and project sites primarily in Middle Tennessee, with occasional trips to surrounding regions
