PE Structural Engineer Qualifications:

• PE Licensed (Tennessee preferred)
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited University
• More than 5 years of professional experience in Structural Engineering
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, and structural design software

PE Structural Engineer Responsibilities:

• Site visits in Nashville, TN and surrounding areas
• Inspect and analyze structural systems for assigned projects
• Inspect modifications to existing structures
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports
• Interact with clients
• Establish and maintain effective professional relationships with associates and clients
• Perform analysis and design of residential and commercial buildings
• Analysis of 3D and 2D frames and individual structural elements of wood, steel, concrete and masonry
