Catering Sales Manager Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience as a Catering Sales Manager
- High-volume off-site catering experience
- Strong financial acumen
- An outgoing leader with the ability to rally the team and create a great culture
- A strong, positive personality who leads from the front
Catering Sales Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Catering Operations Management:
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of catering events, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and efficiently
- Manage menu selections, food preparation, and presentation to meet the highest standards of quality and guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop customized catering options that meet client needs and preferences
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, train, and motivate the catering team to deliver exceptional service and achieve operational goals
- Provide ongoing support and feedback to staff, ensuring a positive and productive work environment
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss event logistics, guest feedback, and areas for improvement
- Sales and Client Relations:
- Drive catering sales by building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions
- Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new business and maximize revenue opportunities
- Ensure all client inquiries and requests are handled promptly and professionally, enhancing overall guest satisfaction
- Guest Service Focus:
- Uphold a guest-first approach, ensuring every event delivers an exceptional experience for attendees
- Address and resolve any guest concerns or issues with a sense of urgency and professionalism
- Continuously seek feedback from guests to improve services and exceed expectations
- Operational Excellence:
- Maintain a high work ethic and demonstrate self-initiative in managing daily tasks and responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies
- Monitor and control inventory, budgets, and costs associated with catering operations
