Job Summary

Are you a hospitality leader passionate about delivering food and beverages at the highest level? Are you a coach, mentor and trainer who is team-centric has that unwavering commitment to your members and guests? We are a privately owned country club seeking a Director of Operations to oversee predominantly food and beverage operations with an emphasis on service, member and guest engagement and delivering excellence in a comfortable, upscale and elegant environment.

Salary and Benefits

  •  Salary Range- 100,000-110,000 annually plus incentives
  • Professional hospitality membership and local and national education expenses, and participation is expected.
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Club funded HSA 
  • RA with 3% Match, immediate vesting (401K plan pending)
  • Investment is committed to providing the leadership team with a healthy work/life balance with a 5-day work week as a priority, however, an initial investment in time and energy to plan/prepare/open is to be expected.

Director of Operations Responsibilities:


  • Direct oversight of food and beverage operations as the new facilities have just opened.
  • Creating hospitality standards and operating procedures for all F & B operations with a significant focus on events/banquets
  • staff training and development, organizational and personnel structure, helping to create the hospitality culture necessary for the organization's success as each phase of the new operations opens. 


Director of Operations Qualifications

  • A 4-year college from an accredited institution is preferred or applicable professional experience and training.
  • Progressive career path without unexplained employment gaps.
  • Practical service experience in higher-end food and beverage with significant knowledge of banquet and event operations in a country club, luxury hotel/resort, or upscale restaurant company 
  • Opening experience is helpful.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the gravitas to relate to the patrons and staff.
  • A true team builder, with the ability to thoughtfully engage, lead, and work alongside team members.
  • Social media savvy and well-versed in hospitality technology; Jonas experience helpful
  • Senses of humor and humility, ambition, an eagerness to succeed, and personal confidence are vital to the candidate’s success.
