Job Summary

The Production Supervisor reports directly to the Production Manager, focusing on upholding the Quality Management System (QMS) and driving continuous process improvements. They play a critical role in fostering team collaboration, ensuring safety compliance, and enforcing ISO 9001 standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and OSHA regulations.

Production Supervisor Responsibilities:


- Lead and promote sound production and maintenance practices across all departments.

- Collaborate with the EHS Manager to implement, train, and ensure compliance with safety systems.

- Evaluate and enhance the performance of production and warehouse departments.

- Identify and introduce more efficient manufacturing and storage methods.

- Coordinate resources such as manpower, facilities, equipment, raw materials, and shipping to meet production targets.

- Ensure full legal compliance with production and environmental regulations.

- Partner with the EHS Team to develop and implement training programs for associates.

- Manage department budgets effectively to maximize operational efficiency and profitability.

- Ensure strict adherence to company policies and procedures.

- Oversee security measures to protect plant and property.

- Manage team development and discipline as necessary.



Production Supervisor Qualifications:


- Bachelor's degree in operations management or engineering

- At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

- Proficiency in using computer applications, particularly Excel and Word.

- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Experience with ISO, GMP, and GFSI (Spanish language skills are a plus).
