Job Summary
Purchasing Coordinator
The Purchasing Coordinator’s main role is to assist the team with all facets of inventory management and to maintain communication and follow-up with vendors, including component suppliers, printers, and raw materials providers. The Purchasing Coordinator will adhere to inventory management processes, protocols, and practices, ensuring that all production requirements are met accurately and on time.
Purchasing Coordinator Responsibilities
- Coordinate purchasing details with vendors, including managing pricing revisions, order cancellations, discontinued items, delivery
- Analyze procurement options and make informed decisions to source materials at the lowest cost while maintaining appropriate inventory levels to meet sales demand.
- Manage all purchasing activities from Taiwan and China, including inventory ordering and tracking product delivery status, along with any other tasks assigned by the company.
- Manage defective or unacceptable goods or services with QA personnel, production plant, sales, customers, and suppliers
- Maintain procurement records, such as items or services purchase contracts, costs, rebates, payment discounts, shipping freight, delivery, and product quality
Purchasing Coordinator Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Purchasing/Procurement/Buying
- Experience in Inventory Management
- Ability to multi-task
- Proven ability to handle Process Improvement Initiatives
