Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef in a restaurant specializing in Chinese cuisine, with a deep understanding of dumpling preparation and Chinese culinary techniques
- Certification as a ServSafe Food Safety Manager
- Demonstrated experience in financial oversight, including P&L management, ordering and inventory control, scheduling, labor cost management, waste reduction, portion control, and adherence to recipes
- Experience in new restaurant openings is highly desirable
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the kitchen team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and working alongside team members in the kitchen
- Foster a positive and productive work environment
- Ensure all dishes consistently meet high-quality standards
- Oversee ordering and inventory, manage storage (FIFO), production, and product freshness to ensure cost-effective purchasing
