Sales Manager


The Sales Manager is tasked with planning and executing the company’s sales strategies to meet sales goals and targets. This role involves both generating revenue personally and leading a team of sales account managers by providing coaching and ensuring accountability.


Sales Manager Responsibilities

  • Provide market analysis and sales forecasts, coordinating with production scheduling to ensure product availability based on regular sales forecast updates.
  • Oversee sales activities to achieve the desired volume mix, pricing, market share, and sales targets.
  • Manage the preparation of product pricing and special quotations to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Travel to maintain and strengthen relationships with key customers, address technical issues, and cultivate new customer connections.
  • Attend conferences and trade shows to gather insights on sales trends and explore new opportunities in the national market.
  • Drive retail sales growth and establish new retail partnerships.

Sales Manager Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7-10 years experience in Plumbing Sales
  • 5+ years managing a staff of salespeople
  • Experience in product pricing and special quotations
  • Experience in trade shows and conferences
