Sales Operations Analyst Responsibilities:
- Collect, evaluate, and summarize critical data to equip the sales team with insights that drive efficient and effective sales growth
- Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for various sales programs and initiatives
- Identify actionable metrics related to product and inventory levels to support sales strategies
- Create presentations that analyze sales and inventory data to uncover opportunities for growth
- Implement and manage reporting tools and dashboards, ensuring the sales team has access to essential data needed for successful business management
- Collaborate with internal IT teams to identify system improvements and opportunities to streamline data updates
- Oversee daily business operations for assigned accounts, including order entry, shipment scheduling, pricing, securing new orders, and maintaining a high level of service, following the company’s Sales SOP
- Manage the open order file to ensure timely shipment of all orders and backorders
- Acquire in-depth product and technical knowledge of the company’s offerings through technical training seminars and self-study
- Accurately enter orders in a timely manner
- Respond to customer requests for quotes promptly and accurately
- Work with the Product Assurance department to resolve any order-related disputes
Sales Operations Analyst Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, along with 5 to 7 years of experience in sales operations and analysis
