Job Summary
Are you a motivated and experienced Industrial Sales professional with a knack for relationship-building and a drive for sales growth? We're looking for an Outside Sales Representative with expertise in paint booth sales and preventative maintenance contracts. This role demands a strategic mindset, strong communication skills, technical know-how, and the ability to excel in a dynamic, team-oriented setting.
Industrial Sales Representative Responsibilities:
- Monitor and report on sales activities weekly, keeping the General Manager informed about progress towards sales and profit objectives.
- Analyze competitive and market trends within your assigned territory or industry, providing insightful reports.
- Offer direct support to customers throughout their projects, working closely with internal teams to exceed customer expectations.
- Create and implement a focused sales plan tailored to your assigned territory and market.
- Oversee all leads and opportunities, ensuring prompt follow-up with potential customers and maintaining pipeline accuracy in the company CRM.
- Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with industry partners and both direct and indirect customers, enhancing the company’s reputation.
Industrial Sales Representative Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in management or a related technical field
- 3+ years in an Outside Sales role, ideally with a background in manufacturing or project management
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, strong organizational abilities, and effective problem-solving skills
- Basic experience with CAD (2D/3D) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; HubSpot experience is a plus
- Willingness to travel locally up to 75% of the time, with occasional out-of-state travel as needed
- Relationship-focused, adept at thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and skilled at managing time effectively to meet deadlines
Industrial Sales Representative Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive base salary of $75k
