Sous Chef Responsibilities:
- Manage daily restaurant operations with a focus on flawless execution, increasing profit, and enhancing the guest experience
- Promote a teaching and learning environment
- Ability to motivate others to accomplish goals
- Knowledge of food specs and execution
Sous Chef Requirements:
- 2 years minimum of progressive experience as a Sous Chef
- Proven leadership skills, strong communication, and ability to follow through.
- Ability to manage and inspire kitchen staff, ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to create innovative, seasonal menus that highlight fresh, local ingredients.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency in every dish.
- Ensure all kitchen activities adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food storage and sanitation practices.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
