Job Summary
A locally owned and operated restaurant is in search of an Executive Chef. This position offers you an opportunity to be creative as well as put systems in place for consistently executing at the highest standard. Looking for a candidate who demonstrate a strong work ethic, passion for the restaurant business, and strong leadership skills.
Executive Chef Responsibilities
- Curate a menu that strikes a chord with guests and wine repeat business
- Work side-by-side with the team as a coach and mentor, providing the necessary training for all team members to advance their careers
- Oversee scheduling, inventory, ordering, and equipment maintenance
- Deliver cost controls and margins and profitability.
- Creating and maintaining a positive culture and healthy work environment
Executive Chef Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years of experience in an Executive Chef role
- Experience managing a high-volume scratch kitchen
- Confident in executing each station in the kitchen
- Demonstrated competence in winning the P and L
- Experience in curating the menu for maximum resonance with guests
