Job Summary

A Fine-dining restaurant beloved by tourists and locals alike seeks a high-performing General Manager to operate our historic property. We are looking for a service-first mentality, excellent organizational skills, and a team-building attitude.


General Manager Duties:

  • Engage with staff and guests. Always make genuine connections and represent the brand
  • Ensure all guests receive the very best service and resolve any problems or complaints
  • Hiring and onboarding new team members, providing training/coaching, and disciplinary action/terminations as required
  • Lead by example, demonstrate integrity in all you do, and be a dependable, trustworthy individual
  • Oversee all scheduling and inventory-related tasks and delegate tasks to your management team as necessary
  • Provide the necessary guidance for each team member and manager to advance to the next level in their careers
  • Assist Ownership in reviving the restaurant and modernizing systems
  • Maximize sales, control food and bar costs, and increase profitability


General Manager Requirements:

  • At least 3-4 years experience as a General Manager in a well-respected, fine-dining venue
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations
  • Outstanding communication skills and emotional intelligence
  • Open availability and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Highly professional in appearance, conduct, and communication
  • Ability to adapt to unique situations
  • High level of autonomy and a strong desire to advance the brand
