Executive Chef Responsibilities and Benefits:

·      Executing innovative and high-quality recipes /dishes that align with our culinary vision.

·      Managing and overseeing all levels of the kitchen team.

·      Maintaining food quality, safety, and sanitation standards / adhering to all local health and safety regulations.

·      Developing and updating menus as needed based on trends, seasonality and customer preferences and dietary requirements while ensuring consistency and proper cooking techniques.

·      Collaborating with suppliers and local vendors to ensure the availability of fresh and seasonal high-quality ingredients.

·      Training and mentoring kitchen staff to ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional dining experiences.

·      Managing kitchen budgets, BOH financials, labor costs, and controlling food costs while maintaining excellent quality.

·      Work hand in hand with the kitchen team to ensure the delivery of quality products in both catering /events and the restaurant.

·      Interviewing, Hiring, scheduling, motivating, retaining, disciplining when needed, and setting a positive culture of teamwork, quality and consistency.

·      Developing staff members, through training, coaching, and planning.

·      Work collaboratively with leadership and FOH teams.

Executive Chef Qualifications

·      Minimum of 5 years of experience in Kitchen Management /Executive Chef in an upscale environment.

·      Experience with new Restaurant openings is a plus.

·      Able to develop authentic and quality driven recipes using fresh ingredients.

·      Experience utilizing kitchen / restaurant software and purchasing /management systems.

·      Able to manage costs and have a good understanding of inventory controls and financials.

·      Strong organizational skills, leadership, and problem-solving skills

·      Team player with the ability to collaborate at all levels.

·      Able to work in an Ego free environment.

·      Good communication skills / able to participate in community events and show professionalism and hospitality with staff and guests.

·      ServSafe Certified or willing to get certified.

·      High School Diploma/ Prefer culinary degree (but not needed).

·      Valid Driver’s license.
