Senior Tax Accountant- Remote
Our esteemed Accounting and Advisory Services firm, ranked in the top 100, is actively seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their growing Merced, CA office. Candidates must have a background in public accounting and hold an active CPA license or EA with intentions to pursue CPA certification. While an in-office presence is preferred, we are open to hybrid-remote arrangements, with full remote options considered for exceptional candidates.

Responsibilities of the Senior Tax Accountant:
- Prepare and review tax forms for individuals, C-Corps, S-Corps, Estates, and Trusts
- Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and state/local tax laws
- Act as a tax planning expert for clients
- Review and prepare financial statements
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to business development efforts
Qualifications for the Senior Tax Accountant:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting
- Active CPA license or EA with plans to pursue CPA certification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Proficiency in CCH Axcess preferred
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (Online and Desktop)
