Job Summary
Position Overview: The Finance Manager will oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities. This role will ensure the company's financial health by managing budgets, financial forecasting, and supporting strategic decision-making processes.
Finance Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results to budget and forecast.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management.
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and manage relationships with auditors.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Ensure adequate internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Finance Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and financial analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
