This position is located in Knoxville, TN and will require living in the Knoxville area and working onsite. This position is not remote or hybrid.

Tax Accountant Responsibilities:

• Manage client financial statements
• Prepare income tax returns for Partnerships, Corporations, LLCs, Individuals, Trusts, and Estates
• Serve as consultant to advise clients on tax strategies for planning purposes
• Conduct avid research tax trends and laws to always be able to advise on complex tax issues
• Assistant with the supervision of junior staff

Tax Accountant Qualifications:

• Active CPA / EA license for state of TN or plans to obtain one
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• Familiarity with QBO, Ultra Tax and Checkpoint Tax
• 5 years of professional experience within a public accounting firm (minimum 3)
• Strong GAAP knowledge
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
