We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Vocational Instructor to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and sharing their knowledge, and a commitment to helping students with IEP's (Individualized Education Plans) achieve their career goals. The Vocational Instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, enhancing current curriculum, and providing support and guidance to students in our expansive vocational program.

Vocational Instructor RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans; Existing plan in place
• Provide hands-on instruction in one of the following: General Contracting, Electrical Work, Welding, Plumbing, HVAC, or Auto Body Technician.
• Assess and support student progress
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience
• Stay updated with industry trends to keep our curriculum relevant

Vocational Instructor REQUIREMENTS

• Preferred but not required: Bachelor's degree in Education, Vocational Training, or related field
• Relevant CA State certification or licensure, unrestricted/clean CA Drivers License
• 3-5 years of experience in the vocational field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience
• A passion for teaching and student success
• Comfortable working with students of all backgrounds with respect and dignity
