Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or Sous Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations and management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional approach under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Manage kitchen staff and ensure they adhere to schedules and procedures
- Train and mentor kitchen team members on proper cooking techniques and procedures
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed to minimize waste and control costs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team
- Maintain a positive working environment and foster teamwork among kitchen staff
