Key Qualifications and Responsibilities for HR Director:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in benefits administration, leave management, and general HR operations
• At least 5 years of experience supervising staff, including Managers, Generalists, and Coordinators
• Proficient in Dayforce (formerly Ceridian) HRIS and scheduling tools like CTUIT
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities
• Experience managing benefit programs, including 401k plans, Workers’ Compensation, Safety Programs, Guest Incident Claims, and Employee Recognition Programs
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
• Previous HR experience in multi-location companies with at least 500 employees, 700-1000 preferred
• Strong understanding of local, California state, and federal employment laws
