Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our client's finance team. The Accounting Manager will oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accuracy and efficiency, and support the Controller in financial reporting and compliance. ACCOUNT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems with heavy involvement in labor cost accounting activities including analysis and reporting.
- Assist in compliance with state and local labor laws and regulations.
- Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Provide financial analysis and reports to management, offering insights for decision-making.
- Collaborate with and support a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Assist in enhancing accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze financial data and generate reports.
- - Work with various departments to support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
ACCOUNTING MANAGER REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a background in cost accounting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- - CPA certification is preferred but not required.
ACCOUNTING MANAGER BENEFITS
- Competitive base salary ranging from $65,000 to $85,000, with opportunities for upward movement based on performance and merit.
