Land & Facilities Manager
**This Role is based in Johnson City, Texas**
Land & Facilities Manager Job Summary:
The Land & Facilities Manager will oversee a private reserve's comprehensive management and maintenance, ensuring the sustainable and efficient use of the land and resources. This role requires a blend of project management skills, environmental engineering knowledge, and the ability to work with and manage a variety of contractors and subcontractors. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and adept at handling multiple responsibilities to evolve and maintain the reserve's infrastructure, natural beauty, and operational efficiency.
The Land & Facilities Manager will report directly to the property owners and work closely with other staff and contractors to ensure the reserve is maintained to the highest standards.
Land & Facilities Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Erosion and watershed management with some environmental engineering exposure/background
- Utilities Management
- Community lighting planning and maintenance
- Landscape & Tree Maintenance
- Fencing, Road and Trail planning and maintenance
- Quarry planning and management
- Contractor and subcontractor Oversight and Service Procurement
- General property Repairs & Maintenance
- Workshop General Management and Team Member Management
- Equipment Inventory
- HOA Compliance - as necessary
Land & Facilities Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction, or related field OR relevant comparable experience.
- Proven experience in land management, environmental engineering, or a similar role.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with contractors, subcontractors, and community members.
- Proficiency in using various tools and technologies related to land management and maintenance. Ie - MS, Google platforms, Construction/planning apps or platforms.

Land & Facilities Manager Compensation:
- Tremendous base salary
- Bonus structure - discretionary by Owners (intends to be generous!)
