A charming, farm-to-table restaurant nestled in the heart of Fairhope, AL is seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team. As our Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for crafting a variety of desserts and baked goods that highlight the flavors of our region and complement our farm-to-table ethos. You will work closely with our Executive Chef and local farmers to create seasonal, innovative, and delicious pastries that delight our guests.

Pastry Chef Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a wide range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to design seasonal dessert menus.
- Source and select high-quality, local ingredients for all pastry creations.
- Ensure all desserts are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed.
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as necessary.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Pastry Chef Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or relevant role in a high-quality restaurant.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Creativity and passion for pastry arts and seasonal ingredients.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
