Job Summary

We are a leading metal finishing manufacturing organization in search of a Channel Sales and Enablement Manager The duties of this role emphasize distributor management over sales and requires a robust foundation in distributor training, as well as adeptness in relationship building and management.


Channel Sales and Enablement Manager Responsibilities

  • Establishes, monitors, and aids distributors in meeting sales quotas for both revenue and bookings, in line with the organization's growth goals
  • Facilitates quarterly scorecard and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) assessments with channel partners
  • Oversees the channel sales pipeline and enhances insight into forthcoming market trends
  • Administers all contracts, revisions, and territory adjustments, and serves as the primary contact for dispute resolution
  • Designs and implements consistent sales training programs, offering both in-person and remote delivery options
  • Heads the Distributor SharePoint site project to establish a unified platform for all communications, pertinent file sharing, downloads, and critical information to enhance distributor success
  • Arranges and oversees bi-annual Distributor council sessions, positioning the team as an Advisory Council for the wider distribution network and market channel. These sessions delve into critical priorities to pinpoint and execute strategies for advancing market share via our channel partners
  • Orchestrates and guides quarterly Distributor town hall sessions, centered on the theme of "growing together," and delivering essential updates on Organizational operations and sales endeavors
  • Collaborates across departments including operations, engineering, design, finance, and marketing to enhance the Organization’s value proposition for distribution partners continually
  • Constructs, nurtures, and fortifies both existing and emerging indirect National Account programs, fostering growth opportunities through distribution while managing relationships with indirect National Accounts
  • Takes charge of leading succession planning for current distribution channels, encompassing the identification of potential new distributor partners, acquisition prospects, or direct market ventures

Channel Sales and Enablement Manager Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field, or at least 3 years of advancing sales experience
  • Three or more years of collective experience in channel management, brand management, product/category management, and/or sales
  • Proven ability to efficiently develop and implement innovative and strategic programs/campaigns
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools
  • Ability for 25% travel to customer locations Nationwide
