The Manufacturing Engineering CNC Programmer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing CNC programs to enhance our manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and refine methods and processes for manufacturing parts and assemblies, including creating detailed routings, operation sketches, tool sheets, and setup instructions.
  • Program CNC machines using appropriate software.
  • Support new product introductions.
  • Develop machine strategies.
  • Design, evaluate, and specify tooling, gauges, and fixtures required for the manufacturing process.
  • Monitor and report on machining efficiencies using defined process metrics.
  • Optimize tooling selection, usage, and costs.
  • Lead engineering activities to ensure seamless implementation.

Qualifications Include:

  • Associate's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC programming in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with CNC programming software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM, G-code).
  • Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and tooling.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and production scheduling.
  • Certification in CNC programming or manufacturing engineering is a plus.
