Restaurant General Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of managers and staff.
  • Manage financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and achieving revenue targets.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
  • Implement and uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

Restaurant General Manager Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a General Manager in a high-volume restaurant setting.
  • Proven track record of managing a restaurant with annual revenue of $3.5M to $5M.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and financial management.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
