Job Responsibilities:

• Service, repair, modify, diagnose, and overhaul standby power generators ranging from 8.5kw to 3500kw
• Conduct failure analysis and execute necessary service or repairs
• Maintain various power generation equipment and air compressors
• Inspect and rectify issues in fuel, cooling, and electrical systems
• Operate load banks and document instrumentation readings
• Evaluate, clean, refurbish, and assess the viability of used components
• Stay updated on product alterations, specifications, and enhancements
• Document all maintenance, repairs, and cost estimates related to the aforementioned tasks

Work Experience & Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of mechanical experience working with diesel equipment, heavy machinery, or specialized equipment such as large-scale generators, pumps, and compressors
• Preferred certification from the Electrical Generating Systems Association (EGSA)
• Proficiency in computer operations and software, including the Microsoft Office Suite
