The Video Projection / LED Wall Engineer is responsible for overseeing all aspects of video production for live events, with a special emphasis on the setup and operation of LED screens. This role demands a blend of high-level technical expertise, leadership skills, and hands-on experience in video technology, particularly in the realm of LED displays.
Video Projection / LED Wall Engineer Responsibilities:
- LED Screen Management: Supervise the setup, calibration, and operation of LED screens for live events, ensuring optimal display quality and performance
- Team Leadership and Training: Manage and train video department staff, ensuring proficiency in operating video equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Technical Coordination: Collaborate with other departments (audio, lighting, staging) to ensure seamless integration of video elements into overall event production
- Content Management: Coordinate the sourcing, preparation, and display of video content on LED screens during events
- Equipment Maintenance and Innovation: Maintain video equipment, including LED screens, projectors, and switching gear. Stay updated on the latest trends in video technology and introduce innovative solutions
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all video operations comply with industry safety standards and regulations
- Must ensure the highest level of safety adherence to international standards and laws
- Must exhibit friendly and accommodating demeanor with good manners at all times, reflecting the service-oriented ethos of the company
- Maintain a presentable appearance and uphold a high level of personal hygiene
Video Projection / LED Wall Engineer Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in the field of Video & LED screens for Live Events
- A 4-year university degree in event technology or engineering-related field (preferred but not required)
- Fluent in English with proficiency in technical vocabulary
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining various video equipment, particularly LED displays
- Familiarity with products from Absen Screens, Novastar, and Magnimage Dataton Watchout Resolume Arena Networking
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing event requirements
- Creative and technical skills in video production and editing
- Capability to handle and transport video equipment
- Flexibility to work in various settings, including outdoor venues and heights
- Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Demonstrates strong leadership under pressure and makes intelligent decisions to maintain workflow progression
Video Projection / LED Wall Engineer Benefits:
- Employment at our company is subject to duly signed employment contracts in compliance with the Labor Laws of the Region
- · The initial contract is for a 3-month trial period
- · Upon successful completion of the trial period, an annual employment contract will be offered
- · The Video Department operates with flexible working hours; there are no fixed daily or weekly counts
- · Management approves and determines weekly days off
- · Participation in the Social Security program aligns with Regional Law and will be discussed further during employment negotiations
- · Satisfactory housing and transportation services will be provided
- · Health insurance coverage will be provided
- · Annual vacation entitlement begins 14 days after the first year of employment
