Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of [5] years of experience in design engineering. Experience in foundry engineering would also be considered, as would managerial experience.
  • Proven understanding of furnace design, heat transfer, combustion systems, and refractory materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the engineering team in the design, manufacturing, and commissioning of aluminum melting and holding furnaces.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize furnace performance, improve energy efficiency, and reduce operating costs for our customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot technical issues, resolve equipment failures, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Manage capital projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
