We are seeking an experienced Glazing Estimator with glass installation industry, bullet resistant, blast and storm impact glazing experience. Urgent Need!

 Glazing Estimator Responsibilities:

• Review design requirements and recommend the best solution based on cost, engineering quality, and/or availability of materials to clients
• Verify product specifications with project architects/designers and communicate with general contractors, glazing contractors, and owners on design and product recommendations
• Provide sales pricing & estimates to clients using established quoting process and tools
• Prepare and submit for Request for Approvals (RFA’s & RFQ’s)
• Record and track all sales project quotes, bids, sales, and construction schedules

 

  Glazing Estimator Qualifications:

• 3 years of project estimating experience in a fast-paced sales and manufacturing environment, construction, or other closely related field
• Experience working with commercial architects, general contractors and/or glazing installers
• Knowledge of building codes and glass installation industry – bullet resistant, blast and storm impact glazing experience are desired
• Ability to read, interpret & understand architectural and structural drawings, blueprints and specifications
• Experience with a CRM, CMD, Dodge, IsqFt or other project lead and quoting platforms desired
• Associate degree or equivalent experience
